About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Shell. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales and Operations: Assign sales staff to duties, manage inventory, and oversee the ordering and authorization of merchandise returns.
  • Training and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, merchandising reports, and personnel reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
