Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

At SHELL, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train store staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Assign tasks and duties to staff members to ensure efficient store operations and maximize sales potential.
  • Hire, train, and develop new staff members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain store displays and visual merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, including scheduling and time management.
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Client-focused and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
