As a Technical Training Specialist for Mining Equipment, you will engage in a role characterized by innovation and enthusiasm. Key Job Responsibilities

Conduct engaging training sessions for Komatsu Mining's state-of-the-art Hard Rock machinery, ensuring safe and effective operation both at customer locations and within Komatsu Mining facilities. Lead the development of captivating technical and operator training programs for underground loaders, trucks, drills, and bolters, collaborating with various teams to ensure timely delivery aligned with product introductions. Assess and select external technical training partners to boost training effectiveness and creativity. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while upholding Komatsu's high-quality standards in all training activities. Leverage advanced training technologies and simulation systems to provide immersive and impactful learning experiences, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and expertise. Act as a primary technical resource, providing expert assistance during equipment demonstrations, warranty adjudications, and customer technical inquiries, reinforcing Komatsu's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

Technical trades diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering with hands-on equipment experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry. At least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a mining context, including bolters, jumbos, loaders, and trucks. Proven experience in facilitating training on technical equipment. Familiarity with BEV equipment is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air-water systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and flexible, with a drive to meet customer satisfaction goals. Proficient in MS Office and capable of developing and delivering training through electronic platforms. Ability to conduct technical training and convey detailed information, including strong public speaking skills.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to work varied shift schedules. Ability to travel globally as required with a valid passport. Capability to work in an underground environment as necessary. Proficiency in verbal and written English is required. Proficiency in verbal and written Spanish is an asset. Completion of underground hard rock common core modules in compliance with relevant standards. Completion of MSHA certification modules in accordance with applicable standards. Must hold a valid driver's license.
