About the Role:

Technica Mining is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Sudbury, Ontario. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with switchgear, transformers, and cabling
  • Install and maintain electrical mine services to support mine operations
  • Install and maintain leaky feeder radio communications
  • Maintain electrical mining equipment such as jumbo drills, mechanized bolters, and BEV equipment
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Valid 309a Construction and Maintenance or 442a Industrial Electrical License
  • Completion of electrical apprenticeship
  • Active member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Working knowledge and skills in underground construction and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and wiring schematics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
