Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Concept Plastics Limited. This role involves operating and maintaining various machines used in the production of plastic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Management: Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced to meet industry standards.
  • Mixing Operations: Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and chemicals to achieve the desired consistency and viscosity.
  • Material Handling: Unload mixtures into containers or conveyors for subsequent processing.
  • Packaging: Pack finished items for shipping and distribution efficiently.
  • Calender Machine Operation: Set up and operate calender machines to convert plastic bales or slabs into continuous sheets or films of specified thickness.
  • Production Adjustments: Adjust calender rollers as needed for production line changes.
  • Extrusion Processes: Set up and operate extruding machines to shape plastic compounds through nozzles or dies.
  • Moulding Machine Operation: Set up and operate moulding machines to create plastic products.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory effectively.
  • Finishing Touches: Trim and sand plastic or fiberglass components to meet specifications.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train; previous experience is an asset.
