Position Overview

The role of a Plastics Machine Operator at EPL Plastics involves operating and maintaining various machinery used in the production of plastic products. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate machines including extruders, calenders, and molding equipment to produce plastic materials.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of the produced materials to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Material Preparation: Accurately weigh and mix resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to established formulas.
  • Maintenance: Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of materials and supplies necessary for production.
Work Environment

This position is situated in a noisy manufacturing environment where physical stamina is essential. Operators must be capable of handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks.

Qualifications
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

  • Effective hand-eye coordination and physical capability to stand for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits
