About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at 1121192 B.C. LTD. as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Staff Supervision: Direct and supervise office staff to ensure efficient and effective daily operations.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate and improve daily operations to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Communication: Open and distribute mail and other materials, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and effective relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including responding to electronic enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.
  • Staffing: Recruit and hire staff to support the company's growth and objectives.
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage digital databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Client Support: Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure effective and efficient operations.Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

    • Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
    Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
