Centre Manager

The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is a registered charity with a rich history of providing care and compassion to animals in need. We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Centre Manager at our Cornwall Animal Centre location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the health and behavioural needs of all animals in care are monitored daily
  • Administer animal care, infectious disease, and facility cleaning protocols and policies
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to meet the goals and objectives of the Ontario SPCA
  • Develop and maintain community outreach programs to promote the Centre
  • Build and maintain relationships with local services and businesses to foster support for the Centre
Requirements:
  • College Diploma in Business Management or related education
  • Animal care work experience
  • Volunteer management experience an asset
  • Ability to lift 18 kg (40lbs) and control 45 kg (100lbs)
  • Open availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
