Business Development Partner

Join Sun Life Financial as a Business Development Partner and play a key role in the growth and success of our advisors. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of advisors to achieve their financial and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the onboarding and training of new advisors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth and client engagement.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to advisors to help them meet their financial and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with advisors to ensure they are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Escalate client complaints and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Monitor and report on operational effectiveness to ensure adherence to business plans and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the local market and its characteristics.
  • Proven sales management and business development skills.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience in an advisor role or people leadership role would be an asset.
  • Valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province where the Financial Centre is located.
