Business Development Partner

Join Sun Life Financial as a Business Development Partner and play a key role in the growth and success of our team. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of developing Advisors to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead developing Advisors through onboarding, training, and development programs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Work with developing Advisors to meet financial and strategic objectives, including sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
  • Ensure assigned Advisors are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered to meet regulatory and Sun Life obligations.
  • Educate and support Advisors on the characteristics of the local market and how to effectively serve clients.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth and client acquisition.
Requirements:
  • Strong sales management and business development skills, with a proven track record of developing successful Advisors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in an Advisor role, with a strong understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory environment.
  • A valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province where the Financial Centre is located.
