Job Summary

CHAWLAS INDIAN BISTRO AND PARTY HALL is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with the culinary team to modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant's budget and customer preferences.
  • Staff Management: Monitor and manage staff performance, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they meet the highest standards of service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Suppliers and Partnerships: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Own transportation.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, organized, reliable, team player, ability to multitask.
