Job Summary:

The Director, Ancillary Revenue & Business Development will lead the management and execution of revenue-generating programs, strategically overseeing current revenue contracts and identifying new regional and national financial growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Ancillary & Business Development unit to drive sales-focused growth
  • Develop a growth strategy centered on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Lead contract analysis to evaluate performance, service, and revenue, particularly core contracts
  • Conduct research to identify new revenue streams aligned with customer needs
  • Establish property site visits to monitor and enhance existing and new ancillary opportunities
  • Direct process development to maximize revenue potential
  • Negotiate renewals and pursue new ancillary business opportunities
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure legal and risk requirements are met
  • Lead financial forecasting and budget preparation to meet company goals
  • Lead vendor meeting discussions and support the Manager as liaison between vendors and stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate and roll out programs to stakeholders
  • Investigate and implement software and technology opportunities to support contract database management
  • Explore strategic ancillary opportunities, including common area design enhancements
  • Lead regular update meetings with the executive team, operational staff, and internal partners

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers and developing ongoing relationships
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role
  • Understanding of the Multi-residential sector
  • Market knowledge
  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Effective communication skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor teams and provide productive feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate
  • Strong selling skills and focus on customer service
