Position Overview: Responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the Food & Beverage (F&B) Division, ensuring effective management and oversight of all F&B general ledger accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and post all accounting journals related to F&B, including necessary general ledger reconciliations.
  • Manage and supervise all aspects of F&B inventory and cost of goods sold, including the development and implementation of an inventory control system and requisition processes to safeguard inventory and accurately calculate costs.
  • Oversee F&B purchasing and accounts payable processes, emphasizing cost control through thorough invoice reviews and approvals.
  • Supervise the Food & Beverage Night Auditor.
  • Assist in directing and training F&B and Accounting personnel.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Support the creation of departmental budgets and conduct variance analysis for the F&B division.
  • Prepare specific reporting resources as required by executive management and defined by the Business Analyst.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP principles and compliance with income tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with Food & Beverage Point of Sale Systems, such as Squirrel (preferred).
  • Prior accounting experience in a multi-departmental organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Previous experience with accounting systems like SAP.
