At Mary Brown Chicken and taters, we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Line Cook. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods. They will also be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, and supervising kitchen staff and helpers. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, as well as cleaning kitchen and work areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Plan menus and estimate food requirements
* Requisition food and kitchen supplies

* Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Clean kitchen and work areas

**Requirements:**

* Experience in a kitchen environment
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
