About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mary Brown Chicken and Taters. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase our brand's commitment to quality and flavor.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working at their best.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to ensure that our high standards of quality and cleanliness are met.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to support our menu offerings.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen budgets and expenses to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 32-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
