About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Taam Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies
    • Lead a team of cooks in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies and equipment
    • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
    • Implement and maintain proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks to achieve high-quality results
    • Provide guidance and training to team members
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
