Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Coast Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Conduct regular assessments of our restaurant's operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze sales data and labour costs to determine areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to optimize revenue growth.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement operational plans to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently, including managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Source, recruit, and train new staff members to ensure that our team has the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Set Staff Work Schedules: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure that our restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review staff performance to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and coaching to help staff develop their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure that our restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in Marketing Plans and Implementation: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans to promote our restaurant and increase customer engagement.
- Address Customer Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Provide Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers have a positive and memorable experience at our restaurant.
- Manage Events: Plan and execute events, such as weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions, to ensure that they are successful and memorable.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Urban area.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Office.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
