About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at ALX Exploration Services. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.
  • Office Management: Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Data Entry: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence, as well as perform data entry tasks.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee and co-ordinate payroll administration.
  • Budget Planning: Plan and control budget and expenditures.
  • Customer Service: Provide professionalism in customer service.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Utilize inventory control software, MS Excel, MS Windows, and cloud-based systems.
  • Online Database Management: Manage CIDOC-CRM databases.
  • Work Environment: Work independently and under pressure, with the ability to multitask, adapt, and work as a team player.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
