Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist II for AF Solutions will advocate for and support the Watchman product line by educating both current and prospective clients within a designated territory. This role involves providing clinical education, developing sales strategies, and offering support to meet or exceed sales objectives and enhance revenue for assigned product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver educational presentations and demonstrations to clients on the advantages and proper clinical application of company products.
  • Engage with existing and potential clients to assess their clinical requirements and illustrate how our products can assist in achieving their objectives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with hospital staff at various levels to facilitate future sales opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services.
  • Guide and mentor exempt specialists and/or supervisory personnel.
  • Exhibit effective leadership during change initiatives and cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Assist management in the recruitment and development of organizational talent.
  • Implement and track strategies as outlined in the quarterly action plan for the region.
  • Coordinate territory management and other sales efforts within Boston Scientific.
  • Build relationships with key referring physicians to drive market development and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales management to proactively identify strategic initiatives.
  • Be available for on-call duties as necessary to ensure coverage.

Clinical Trial Responsibilities (If Applicable):

  • Maintain knowledge of clinical trial protocols and compliance through training.
  • Oversee clinical trial activities within the assigned territory.
  • Educate clinical investigators on trial protocols and investigational products.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to articulate complex product information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation is highly desirable.
