Role Overview
The Clinical Specialist II for AF Solutions will be responsible for promoting and supporting the Watchman product line by educating both current and prospective clients within a designated region. This role will involve delivering clinical education, developing sales strategies, and providing support to help meet or exceed sales targets and enhance revenue for assigned product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver educational presentations and demonstrations to clients regarding the advantages and proper clinical application of company products.
- Engage with existing and potential clients to assess their clinical requirements and illustrate how our products can assist in achieving their objectives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with hospital staff at various levels to facilitate future sales opportunities.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to products and services.
- Guide and mentor exempt specialists and/or supervisory personnel.
- Exhibit effective leadership during transitions and cultivate strategic partnerships.
- Assist management in the recruitment and development of organizational talent.
- Implement and oversee strategies outlined in the quarterly action plan for the region.
- Coordinate sales management efforts and territory activities.
- Build relationships with key referring physicians to foster market development and growth.
- Collaborate with sales management to proactively identify strategic initiatives.
- Be available for on-call duties as needed to ensure coverage.
Clinical Trial Responsibilities (If Applicable):
- Maintain knowledge of clinical trial protocols and compliance through training.
- Oversee clinical trial activities within the assigned territory.
- Educate clinical investigators on trial protocols and investigational products.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to articulate complex product information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation is desirable.
