Position Overview

Join our team at New Best Care Medical Clinic as a dedicated Medical Secretary. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our healthcare facility.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.

  • Clinic setting
  • Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
  • Willingness to relocate is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather comprehensive case histories.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Complete insurance and other necessary claim documentation.
  • Maintain an organized filing system.
  • Input and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Initiate and uphold confidential medical files and records.
