Job Summary

Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Identify and diagnose faults and malfunctions in heavy-duty equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance on heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Test and Verify Equipment: Conduct thorough testing and verification of repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and is safe for operation.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
Work Environment

As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician with Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
