Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including emission control systems.
The Heavy-Duty Equipment Maintenance Specialist will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift heavy loads. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
