As a Strategic Human Resources Partner (HRBP), you will serve as a vital business ally, collaborating with our leadership teams and individual contributors to advance initiatives that enhance employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, change management, talent development, diversity, equity, inclusion, performance, and workplace culture. As a trusted advisor, you will offer guidance and support to leaders on human resources strategies that align with the objectives of the business unit, fostering a high-performing and engaged work environment. You are adaptable, flexible, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike. Your relationship-building skills will be essential, as you understand that the best teams and organizations are built on trust and mutual care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute human resources programs and practices that promote growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness aligned with business strategies, focusing on areas such as talent management, compensation, learning and development, and performance management.
  • Assist leaders in addressing Employee Relations matters through effective coaching, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and policies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience proactively and collaborate with management to create and implement innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Work alongside leaders to encourage discussions that promote career advancement, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with all levels of leadership, including Senior Directors, to establish effective organizational structures that enhance organizational health.
  • Consult and coach management at all levels to cultivate and maintain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to devise solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Guide employees and leaders to exemplify behaviors that reflect our company values and culture.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance regarding the application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal Centers of Excellence (COE) teams to offer feedback, development, and implementation of HR programs (e.g., Learning and Development, compliance, compensation).
  • Partner with leadership on workforce management and proactively identify resource needs across supported teams.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate and partner with all organizational levels and positively influence teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local labor laws and regulations across Canadian provinces, with a strong understanding and practical application of internal and external HR principles, practices, and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development and/or change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capacity to evaluate situations and make data-driven decisions based on prior experience.
  • Experience coaching employees and management through complex and challenging issues.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, capable of thriving in evolving environments.
  • Strong personal accountability for delivering high-quality work and actively seeking improvement opportunities.
  • Experience working with senior leaders in a client-centric technology organization is considered an asset.
