We are in search of a dedicated Senior Structural Engineer to enhance our team in North Vancouver. You will engage closely with a group of specialists, partnering with our clients on some of the most impactful projects across North America. This role involves alternating between the North Vancouver office and project sites, with each rotation lasting four weeks. All travel expenses will be covered by the company.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative designs, engineering calculations, and cost assessments.
  • Addressing intricate engineering problems with inventive solutions.
  • Preparing technical specifications, engineering documentation, and project reports.
  • Collaborating with various professionals and departments to collect project-related information.
  • Conducting site evaluations in remote locations and being prepared for extended travel periods (up to four weeks).

In addition, you will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a higher qualification, with either current Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status or a commitment to obtain EIT registration.
  • The capability to travel to remote project sites in British Columbia for extended durations (up to four weeks) during the construction of significant marine facilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines in time-sensitive environments.
  • Proficiency in various structural analysis software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
