Senior Structural Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for institutional and healthcare facilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
  • Mentor and develop technical staff to ensure consistent quality and expertise
  • Conduct site visits and attend client meetings to ensure project requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering practice, with a focus on large-scale projects
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in concrete, steel, and wood design
  • Superior knowledge of building science, seismic, and construction techniques
  • Experience with the National Building Code of Canada
  • Strong communication and project management skills
