About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at The Tommyfield Gastro Pub Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to our discerning customers.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional results.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and management of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our kitchen and dining areas are well-managed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Skills: Proven track record of menu planning and preparation, chef management, inventory management, quality control, and team collaboration.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
