Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with the ability to lift, move, and position patients as required.
