We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with renal needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical judgment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient education and teaching
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Provide direct nursing interventions for crisis and life-threatening situations
- Document patient information, including assessments, care plans, and progress
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Two years recent related renal experience, including 1 year of patient teaching experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to apply decision-making and analytical skills
