Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • One year recent experience in acute psychiatry or tertiary mental health
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
