Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our gastrointestinal clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care, implementing and evaluating nursing interventions to meet individual needs.
- Develop and implement care plans, incorporating individual and group teaching activities to promote patient education and empowerment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, supporting patients and families through complex health issues.
- Provide clinical direction and guidance to other staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience in operating room, emergency room, surgical, or endoscopy settings, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
