Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including assessments, plans of care, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Participate in nursing orientation and share clinical knowledge with other nursing staff, nursing students, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- One year recent experience in acute psychiatry or tertiary mental health, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to apply decision-making and analytical skills.
