Staff on Call: Travel Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in the Vancouver Island & Interior BC region, British Columbia.

Contract Details
  • Contract duration: 3-6 months (dependent on your availability) with possibility of extension
  • Short-term contracts can also be discussed
Location
  • Duncan, BC
  • Campbell River, BC
  • Kamloops, BC
Compensation
  • $50.00 per hour
  • Travel allowance
  • Accommodation
  • Weekly allowance
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform assessments
  • Plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
  • Directly supervise care staff to meet resident's needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals
  • Graduate of recognized school of nursing
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
