Position Overview

PUNJAB DRYWALL LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Construction Specialist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in drywall installation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assess project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Guide and instruct apprentices in drywall techniques.
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for drywall application.
  • Ensure proper curing of freshly plastered surfaces.
  • Construct and install suspended metal ceiling grids, incorporating panels for acoustical and decorative ceilings.
  • Finish corners and angles, creating decorative designs in the finish coat as necessary.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to achieve the desired consistency for application.
  • Craft and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists effectively.
  • Smooth excess compound and allow it to dry appropriately.
  • Apply acoustic or texture materials to walls and ceilings using spray techniques.
  • Utilize a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape in compound.
  • Install both exterior and interior steel studs as part of the drywall framework.
  • Prepare comprehensive wall and ceiling layouts for projects.
