About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall and plastering finishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction
    • Prepare and submit detailed quotations and tenders for drywall installation projects
    • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and develop installation plans
  • Installation
    • Install drywall sheets and panels to meet project specifications
    • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
    • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids
    • Mix and apply plaster ingredients to desired consistency and smooth out excess compound
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect and test installed drywall and plastering finishes to ensure quality and durability
    • Make adjustments and repairs as needed to meet project standards
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects and manage inventory
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced construction environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation and plastering
  • Permanent employment with a reputable construction company
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week
  • English language proficiency
