Job Summary

Top Side Drywall (2018) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing
    • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
    • Apply successive coats of compound to seams and joints, and sand to a smooth finish
    • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Task Execution
    • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
    • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
    • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
    • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and reliability in a team environment
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Experience and Education
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
