Position Overview

Advance Drywall Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Drywall Installation Specialist to join our skilled workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in drywall installation
Work Environment
  • Exposure to dusty conditions
  • Outdoor work settings
Key Responsibilities
  • Install metal corner beads to safeguard exterior corners
  • Construct and install suspended metal ceiling frameworks and fit panels for acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Apply joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision
  • Secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Utilize a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape in compound
