Job Summary

We're seeking a highly experienced Head of Institutional Sales and Business Development to join our team. This role will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement opportunities to build the business, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Manage a team of sales staff, including hiring, training, and orienting new team members.
  • Plan sales campaigns, set CRM systems, and oversee the implementation of sales techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market microstructure, and competitor landscape for strategic planning.
  • Execute business and project plans, and monitor progress to ensure targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis to track business performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue and profit.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Experience in managing or leading sales teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to problem-solve and negotiate.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
