Job Overview

PGG Construction Corp is seeking a dedicated and skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be capable of working in various environments.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in carpentry or related fields
Work Environment
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Exposure to noisy and dusty conditions
  • Work settings include construction sites, commercial buildings, and residential projects
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood and lightweight steel
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate tasks on job sites
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
Transportation Requirements

Candidates must have their own transportation to various job sites.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Capable of handling a large workload and meeting tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding tasks are expected
Tools and Equipment

Steel-toed safety boots are required for this position.
