Interior Finish Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Interior Finish Carpenter to join our team at Boway Construction Ltd. As an Interior Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes in our residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
- Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to meet project specifications.
- Prepare Tenders and Quotations: Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, ensuring accurate estimates and timely delivery.
- Install Windows, Doors, and Hardware: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet project requirements.
- Schedule and Coordinate Work: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain and Repair Structures: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Physical Demands: The role requires bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads, making it a physically demanding position.
- Work Environment: The work environment is a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular exposure to construction sites.
- Experience: We require at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of interior finishing techniques and materials.
- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with a focus on carpentry or a related field.
