About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at PGG Construction Corp. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of finishes on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to create high-quality finishes.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to meet the required standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Train and supervise other workers to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure budget compliance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Commercial, residential, and construction experience.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools and equipment.
Work Environment

As a Finish Carpenter at PGG Construction Corp, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and lift heavy materials.
