About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Finish Carpenter to join our team at Boway Construction Ltd. As an Interior Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes in our residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to exacting standards
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and physical demands
  • Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in interior finishing or a related field
