Job Overview

PGG Construction Corp is seeking a dedicated and skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Exposure to noisy and dusty conditions.
Work Setting
  • Experience in construction environments.
  • Work may be conducted at various locations including commercial and residential sites.
  • Familiarity with millwork and pre-fabricated shop work is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on job sites.
  • Provide instruction and supervision to apprentices and other workers.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
Transportation and Travel
  • Candidate must have own transportation.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
  • Capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to handle a large workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Position is physically demanding.
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
