We are currently in search of a compassionate and innovative individual to join our skilled team as a Activities Engagement Specialist.

In the role of Activities Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for residents in our independent and assisted living neighborhoods. Your responsibilities will include planning, creating, and executing a diverse activities program that addresses the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. This position offers daily opportunities to express your creativity, inspire and motivate others, and be a positive influence in the lives of residents and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong commitment to Touchmark's core values: excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion, along with a desire to embody these values and inspire others.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing social or recreational activities within a healthcare environment, preferably with a background in working with individuals living with dementia.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to assist in organizing and facilitating activities both on and off-site, including celebrations, social gatherings, community outings, and fitness programs.
  • Trustworthiness and compassion.
  • A genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working within a geriatric setting.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding resident information and medical history.
  • The ability to remain patient and tactful when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
  • COVID vaccination or willingness to obtain it upon employment.
