We are currently in search of a compassionate and innovative individual to join our esteemed team as a Senior Living Engagement Specialist.

In the role of Senior Living Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital part in enhancing the daily lives of residents in our independent and assisted living neighborhoods. This involves assisting in the planning, creation, and execution of a comprehensive activities program tailored to meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. You will have the opportunity to express your creativity, inspire and motivate others, and serve as a positive influence in the lives of our residents and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong commitment to Touchmark's core values: excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion, along with a desire to embody these values and inspire others.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in managing social or recreational activities within a healthcare environment, preferably with individuals living with dementia.
  • A collaborative spirit, enjoying teamwork to plan, organize, and facilitate activities both on-site and in the community, including celebrations, social events, outings, and fitness programs.
  • Trustworthiness and compassion in all interactions.
  • A genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and a commitment to working in a geriatric setting.
  • A dedication to maintaining confidentiality regarding resident information and medical history.
  • The ability to remain patient and tactful when engaging with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
  • COVID vaccination or willingness to obtain it upon employment.
