Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Host to join our Front of House team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and inviting greeting to all guests, making them feel welcome and at ease.

  • Manage guest flow efficiently, maximizing seating capacity and minimizing wait times.

  • Communicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to ensure seamless service.

  • Escort guests to their tables, engaging them in friendly conversation and ensuring a smooth transition.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, accurately taking reservations and ensuring the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are well-stocked and clutter-free.

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of table numbers and maintain awareness of each section in the restaurant.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to ensure the highest level of service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar position, preferably in a fine dining establishment.

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, with restaurant experience considered an asset.

  • Full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
