Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Support Specialist to join our dynamic Clinical Genomics team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to management and staff, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both electronically and physically.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide information as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum three years of experience providing administrative support in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
