About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team at Winners. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Sales and Operations
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement
    • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
    • Lead a team of sales associates and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance
  • Customer Service and Experience
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and experience through effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
    • Develop and implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to drive repeat business and customer retention
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and manage a team of retail professionals, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom staff
    • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and performance
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive improvement and growth

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in business, retail, or a related field
    • Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience, including supervisory and leadership roles
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
