Job Summary

We are seeking a Store Leader to join our team at H&M Group. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that the store operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and follow up on store sales and profit KPIs, and take actions to maximize results
  • Work with the area team to set sales budgets and ensure that the store is meeting its sales targets
  • Ensure that the store is operating in accordance with H&M Group's standards and policies
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and development of sales associates
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of sales associates, including providing feedback and coaching
  • Work with the area team to identify and implement opportunities to improve sales and profitability
  • Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, and that all equipment and fixtures are in good working order
  • Manage the store's inventory and ensure that it is accurately stocked and displayed
  • Work with the area team to identify and implement opportunities to improve customer service and satisfaction
  • Ensure that all sales associates are aware of and are following H&M Group's customer service standards

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of retail management experience or comparable experience
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds and to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, and carry items
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Consistently shows ability to be sales-driven and results-oriented by taking action, relating all decisions back to store results, and working to improve P&L
  • Strong merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledge
  • Ability to take own initiative and to work strategically
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coach and apply appropriate developmental tools for each individual
  • Experience with preparing and administering progressive discipline processes and performance management, as well as succession planning
