About the Role
We are seeking a Store Leader who can drive profitability by maximizing sales. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can shape the store according to our shared values, standards, policies and procedures along with the Area Team. This role requires a strong ability to analyze & follow up store sales & profit KPIs & take actions accordingly to maximize results.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly analyze & follow up store sales & profit KPIs & take actions accordingly to maximize results
- Work with the Area Team to set the hours plan in line with the sales budget
- Collaborate with the Management Team to ensure scheduling maximizes conversion within the hours plan
- Prioritize and take actions in the store that have a clear impact on sales in line with the Area Team
- Provide input to the Area on store allocation to secure a good garment level according to sales
- Ensure execution continuously meets H&M standards and follow up using the Customer Experience Tool
- Ensure store operations best practices are followed in the store, according to the Area plan
- Ensure H&M customer service standards are delivered
- Manage the recruitment, training, development and succession planning for the store team
- Evaluate and manage the performance of the store team, including having dialogues, putting development plans in place, giving feedback and following up and taking actions to improve performance and develop the team
- Actively work with talent and leadership development in the store to support business needs
- Ensure regular and clear communication with the store team on business performance, company culture & values and store goals
- Ensure health & safety, legal and security issues are being handled in accordance with H&M standards and local legislation, ensuring employee and customer safety
- Strengthen our company culture by promoting feedback in our daily work and coach the store team
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 2-3 years of retail management experience or comparable experience
- Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds & to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items
- Exceptional customer service/interpersonal skills
- Proven organizational and analytical skills
- Consistently shows ability to be sales driven and results-oriented by taking action, relating all decisions back to store results and working to improve P&L
- Strong merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledge
- Ability to take own initiative and to work strategically
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to coach and apply appropriate developmental tool for each individual
- Experience with preparing and administrating progressive discipline process and performance management as well as succession planning
